WAVE Action is awash with creativity. Artists from the WAVE Artists’ Studio Tour come together in a dynamic exhibition filled with movement, energy, and imagination. From sculpture and glass to painting, wood, jewelry, photography, pottery, and paper, each work captures action—bold gestures, shifting light, tactile process, and ideas in motion. Experience art that moves you, surprises you, and brings the creative spirit of Manitoba’s Interlake region vividly to life. No swimsuit required!
Satellite View, clink on Gallery to see it, is my acrylic ink work in this exhibition. Inspired by images of Lake Winnipeg taken by satellite, I hope to encourage and engage people in bringing the Lake back to optimum health!

Artists of the Lake, a loosely knit group of creatives, will present an exhibition of works concentrating on the forms of life: human, animal and more!
A special event is planned for Saturday, May 30, at 1 pm. We will honour a founder of the WAVE Artists' Studio Tour, now in its 25th year. I've taken up printmaking, in a small way, and my work celebrating Helma will be in that medium.
I will have other works in the show and will be there to chat with you about Body Language!
At the Lakeview Gimli Hotel, Centre Street, Gimli--on the beach. Open noon to 7, Friday, 10 to 7 Saturday, and 10 to 5 Sunday. Free admission.

The WAVE Open Studio Tour will also have 20 other artists for you to meet along the way--from St. Andrews along Highways 8 & 9, through the beaches area, to Hecla Island! Grab friends, have lunch, and experience our creative spaces.

Nov. 19-20, Straw Sculpture Build & Burn, at Holiday Alley in Selkirk. Watch a giant 4-metre wave in construction, and on fire!
